BIGQUERY / GOOGLE CLOUD

Make the change. Check the result.

Hands-on SQL optimisation, pipeline fixes and bounded architecture changes in Google Cloud. Scope, testing and handoff agreed before work starts.

Describe your project

Scope, availability and price agreed before work begins.

01

BigQuery queries and models

Optimise agreed SQL, partitioning, clustering or incremental loads. Validate results and measure the relevant workload before and after.

02

Composer/Airflow pipelines

Fix or redesign selected DAGs, dependencies, retries and backfills. Recovery, late data and idempotency are considered in the agreed tests.

03

Architecture and handoff

Implement a bounded architecture change or a new data flow. Agree environments, access, deployment, rollback and documentation before changing production.

A controlled handoff

Production changes require an agreed scope, explicit authorisation, testing and a rollback plan. Sources, environments, access and ongoing operating costs are established during scoping.

EXAMPLE SCOPES

A specific change. A way to check it.

A costly query

Inputs: SQL, usage pattern and reference results.

Work: review filters, reads and modelling for the selected query.

Acceptance: preserve the result and compare consumption and runtime under an equivalent workload.

An incremental load

Inputs: keys, updates, deletions and late-data behaviour.

Work: adapt the load and its reconciliation checks.

Acceptance: reconcile to the reference, replay without duplicates and test late corrections.

A recoverable DAG

Inputs: tasks, dependencies, schedule and failure history.

Work: fix the selected dependency or recovery path.

Acceptance: test failure, retry and backfill without publishing incomplete data.

Examples subject to platform review. The proposal defines scope, tests, code and documentation handoff, and deployment conditions; these examples do not set a price or deadline.

HOW IT WORKS

A clear first step. Room to build trust.

Start by email. Agree the work. Keep decisions and documentation in your hands.

  1. 01

    Describe the problem

Share the context in writing. The initial fit check by email is free; a technical conversation can be arranged when useful.

  2. 02

    Agree a first engagement

Get scope, deliverables, access, dates, acceptance criteria and the total price. Accept the proposal and pay online through a private link.

  3. 03

    Check the improvement

Receive documentation of the work and how to validate it. Continue with planned support if useful. Production changes require authorisation, tests and rollback.

LET’S START WITH THE CONTEXT

What would you like your data platform to do better?

Tell me what is happening and the outcome you need. My first reply will confirm the fit and a next step, or ask for the details needed to define it.

  • No mandatory sales call
  • No credentials needed to inquire
  • No payment before an agreed scope

Four required fields. We’ll take it from there by email.

Tell me what is failing or missing, which systems are involved and what outcome you need. 10–5,000 characters. Leave out confidential data, passwords and keys.

Add technical context (optional)

Availability is confirmed in the proposal. This form is not an emergency support channel.

These details are used to respond to your inquiry. How your data is handled.
